Animation

SqPaint has two animation features.

• The cel animation feature, suited to relatively large images such as single illustrations
• The sprite animation feature, suited to small sprites such as map tiles and small characters

Using the animation features

These animation features are off by default.

To use one, choose the following item from the menu bar.

Cel animation

Canvas > Enable Cel Animation

Sprite animation

Canvas > Enable Sprite Animation

Info

You cannot use both animation features at the same time.

Disabling

Choose Canvas > Disable Animation in the menu bar.

However, cel animation can be disabled only when there is one cel.
